A lot of posts on the match thread which should be footy only!!!!! Some mocked but I would love some nice socks and my slippers are literally falling to bits. I've been saying for weeks how nice the training gear is.
Bugger Christmas . . . . it's my birthday tomorrow and I've just been to The Shop so I know one thing that I'm getting (I know about more than one, but this is 'a thing of beauty' and nostalgic)
Come on Drum, bloody Christmas thread, it's weeks away man, can't you wait til the advent calendars are up
I want a pair of binoculars or a telescope and a metal detector. Things that I can do on my own and have some me time.
Is the backs of your shoes damaged ? That's what usually wrecks socks but I get a free pair of boots through work every year and my socks last well enough These type .
I gave a pair of binoculars away as they were shìte with the intention of getting a decent pair but haven't bothered, I've got a spotter scope but hardly use it. They're a decent thing to have between binoculars and a telescope I've a Garrett metal detector and the mrs bought me a bag and a finds box for it last xmas .
Dear Santa, for Christmas I would like: 1. Top of the league for Christmas 2. Kate Beckinsdale in pvc 3. Salma 4. A bean to cup coffee machine …….realistic??
Not really, it's not very good. Cheap aldi one. You can get a decent view of the moon but there's not much happening there these days It stays at the caravan, sometimes have a look at the deer over the fields and the odd bird of prey. I have a small pair of national trust free binoculars which are pretty good for what they are. Limited usage is another factor on why I haven't splashed out but decent quality is much better. I haven't used the metal detector much either. I bought it late 2022 with the Idea of taking the dogs down on the beach for an hour or two the following spring. Unfortunately one of my dogs passed away that spring and the other ended up on heart tablets and didn't want to walk much.
