I think that "taking risks in the opposition half, not our own" is key. Played with a guy years ago who reminded us at the beginning of each match, " defenders never to take a risk, midfielders occasionally take risks, forwards always to take a risk"

BANG ON! Ok, I know some of you will be thinking, not that easy nowadays but there’s definitely a gist of what we need here.

 

Exactly, that is what’s missing, mostly!!

 

Yeah, faffin' around at the back is high risk for low gain.

 

Be lovely to win wouldn't it. Really want everything to click. Like Everton are dull as fu#k and have been for ages. At least we have got some people talking with our style

Just read on the BBC there's been sickness through the 'camp'. Readymade excuse right there.

 

If only we could stop Russell Martin from talking drivel to our players at half time we might just win a game.
