A potential banana skin. We need to be on it. Hopefully we score first and do it early so we can control the game.

Great post and as always enjoy his videos, although most of it is beyond me but I try to understand them as best I can. Most of the videos out there are nowhere near as good. Just as a side note but means nothing really, most of the video predictions for this game I have come across have Sunderland winning by a couple of goals. Although it is always interesting to know what a neutral fan thinks I am not sure they know anymore than a average unbiased Sunderland fan .If there is such a thing Haha

Thank you for the thread RTB, spot on as usual, my view is too many crap teams are fouling, and refs letting them get away with it. Having said that we will have too much for the Parkies and I expect a win by 3 or more goals, I'm loving this season happiest I have been in a good while watching the lads play

It's a bit far to commute, but I've got a spare room if it doesn't come off

We were all pissed off with Speakman last season but when you hear that description of us you think what a job he’s done.

I was absolutely sick of people repeatedly saying 'Sunderland are an absolute embarrassment of a club'.

QPR are 19th, can't win a game and are in yet another relegation battle ...

    ... but I doubt anyone thinks they're a joke of a club.

It's great to be so admired by so many other clubs and have done it with brains, not a chequebook.

Well I have went silly on the predictor but I will stick with my "just a win lads please" even a nervy 0-1 will suffice. Obviously hoping we give someone a hammering at some point.
Get an early goal or two and hopefully the game is as relaxed as last week.

Having ready a lot of match reports from Clive Whittingham this season and last, it's fair to say they're back to being a bit of a basket case. But they've just gotten two good draws, we might be the turning point in their season?

I certainly hope not, it appears they've got a good defender in our old loanee Clarke-Salter. They've only lost once with him in the team this season. If he's fit, he goes alongside Steve Cook, who is a Danny Batth type. Another former Sunderland player alongside them at rcb or rb depending on their formation is to be Jimmy Dunne. If he's their rb, Mundle should rifle through his pockets easy.

Their midfield is a bit flimsy, Colback injured, he's their bite/muscle. Sam Field has been their ever present for a while, but I dont see anything flashy about him. They've got two new centre mids from abroad too, Varane and Madsen. Varane is seemingly a bit negative at the minute and has also picked up a red card already. Madsen is a giant with no balls and some decent technique.

Their most worrying bunch are their attacking midfielders, Chair, Saito and Dembele.

Most will have seen plenty of Chair in the last couple of years, believe he scored past us at least once, maybe at the SOL when their keeper scored? Anyway, he's very classy.

Saito and Dembele are new. I raved about Karamoko Dembele in the summer, thinking he'd be a good deputy to Roberts and maybe a Diallo type. When I saw him for QPR vs Luton he looked bright and he's had a few good moments for them, but I think they struggle to get their attackers going like most teams. Saito seems like their most exciting and dangerous player, he's quick and likes to beat his man.

    Their striker, Celar, is ****e.
    (He will probably score)

This is the info I've gathered anyway, make of it what ya will.

We should dominate their midfield, get on top of them early, quick decivise passing, grab an early goal then act like we did against Oxford and pass the ball around inviting the press so we can counter.

I agree, that's the best kind of passing ...

... should totally confuse them <laugh>

The demand has been mental for this fixture. I know lads who go quite regularly who haven’t been able to get tickets. We could’ve sold 5000+ for this one, not a single doubt about it
