Some proper bitch moaning from Arsenal and City lately, we started games with Nat Phillips and Rhys Williams a couple of seasons ago. I'll excuse you for not knowing who they are.
Arsenal have always been a bit girly since the early 2000s. They've toughen up the last year or so on the pitch but still whinge like anything as a club.
You need a few proper blokes to win titles generally or you’ll fall short at some point with the exception of City since Kompany and I don’t think they’re at the same level now they were. This is probably the first time in many years Arsenal have that if they can keep Gabriel and Saliba fit. It’s a great chance for them and Liverpool. City aren’t all that.
We’ve got a really good team now and like you say, some proper units in there too. I think it’s funny how people used to accuse us of having a soft underbelly and now they accuse us of playing the dark arts lol. When oppo fans and pundits are moaning about your club. You know you’re doing something right
Still difficult to see past City. If Haaland got injured then that might sway me think more towards the others. Arsenal need to keep their composure - not easy when they're managed by Arteta who is very emotional. Liverpool look more likely at the moment.
When the 'dark arts' Arsenal now use is pretending to be injured, whining and cheating, it's not that difficult a cross over. It's not like people are saying Arsenal are a dirty or physical side. Far from it, it's still the same crying MO that Wenger created and has been the way of the club ever since.
I should have just put the link up, soz... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cn9xv2e1199o
Be interesting if Ruud does well and Amorim starts poorly. Wonder if Van Nistelrooy will stick around.
