If you're playing Longstaff, you're winning nothing. It's very easy to see. He's another we'll never sell because nobody will pay what we think he's worth, just like Almiron, Wilson, Murphy, Targett and any other of the mediocrity we've been saddled with. It'll take a long time to get anywhere because we're now about to embark on our sell-our-best-to-buy-more-subs period.
Regardless if you think he should be near the 1st team or not they shouldn't allow him to leave on a free
I've been critical of Longstaff but those stats make for very interesting reading, it may just be coincidence but maybe he does offer the team things that go unnoticed
He’s been brilliant this season. I have no arguments about his quality. He has been brilliant lately.
It takes a good man to accept that. If only it works the other way when others are wrong. You never see redemption.
There was a long period when Longstaff looked ineffective, but by the sound of it he was playing game after game through injury. So makes you wonder what impact it had on his game during that period. With Willock looking more like his pre-injury form and Miley back, we look like we have decent options in midfield.
