Good Morning. It's Wednesday 30th October, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road Harrison could return in January Everton may cut short Jack Harrison's loan spell and return him to Leeds, after another inept performance at the weekend. The soon-to-be 28yo, dubbed the worst winger in the top flight by Toffee's fans, is beginning to slip down the pecking order. He has made no significant contributions to Sean Dyche's side this season, and has plummeted to 15th in the 'Whoscored' rankings with a miserable 6.34 rating. 'Liverpool World' branded him ineffective, and were generous in their 4/10 evaluation of the former Manchester City starlet last time out (against Fulham). Turning his back on Leeds when they needed him without so much as a loan feet has made him a hated figure in West Yorkshire. It would take something very special to be welcomed back to the fold. We'd be lying if we said Manor Solomon's injury issues were not a massive concern for Daniel Farke. Bringing him to Elland Road was always going to be a calculated gamble, given the amount of time he has spent on the side-lines over the past twelve months. If the worse were to happen, would you take Harrison back in January? please log in to view this image 18 points up for grabs in November Leeds face a manic November with no fewer than 18 points up for grabs, including three games in six days. Wayne Rooney's Plymouth Argyle make their annual pilgrimage to Elland Road on Saturday, followed by a midweek trip to the Lions Den. Championship strugglers QPR, who haven't won since August 30th make the arduous trip up the M1 Saturday week, before yet another International break. The Whites are back on the road on the 24th, with Joe Rodon, Dan James and Joel Piroe's former club Swansea, followed three days later with a home tie against free falling Luton Town. November's fixture list concludes with a tough trip to Ewood Park, home to a Blackburn side with the joint best home record in the Championship! Taking into account Leeds injury concerns, how many points can you see in November? Who will Leeds miss the most? Should the likes of Dan James and Manor Solomon be allowed to go on International duty so soon after returning from injury? please log in to view this image
Morning all Aaronson and Wober, I’ve accepted they could have important roles this season, specially Aaronson as he is already an important part of the squad. Harrison I can’t forgive in the slightest, if he returns, hope he is left training with the kids. He has always lived on a reputation of 2 good games in what, 10? I can’t wait for him to leave on a permanent. Ipswich were snapping up anyone going and have three ex Leeds players, maybe we can’t tempt them with him
Morning, Agree with ristac. If Harrison comes back in January, just get rid - permanently. Even on a free. Would not be good for morale seeing a rat returning with his tail between legs because he’s been a total failure. At least the likes of Aaronson didn’t return because they failed elsewhere. So get rid on a free. Unless it’s desperate Ipswich, who would probably pay £15m as they seem to like Championship standard players.
Morning all. Deffo get rid of Harrison. He has no business coming back to us. Lets see if Ipswitch buy him, or we can give him away for free. If we play consistantly good, then we'll get a lot of those 18 points. Trouble is we are very inconsistant at being consistant!
Do we have to take Harrison back? Hopefully it was a full season agreement with both clubs needing to agree an early return, however, we’ve proved that we’re not the sharpest in these types of contracts negotiations. The international breaks are getting ridiculous, forcing players to play three games in six days then go off to join their countries.
Morning all The thing is we could bring Harrison back then get rid by the end of January from what I remember there were a few Dutch clubs sniffing around him before we went down. The question must be asked did Bielsa make him look good like Phillips?
Afternoon all, pissing it down here still. If harrison comes back in Jan, sell as quickly as possible.
Afternoon all, Harrison goes into the same category as Gnonto, Aaronson and Wober for me. If they come back into the fold they need to prove themselves again. So far two of those have/ are doing with one not having had a proper chance. I'm not saying I want him back but if he does then he knows what he needs to do.
