Awful game. No urgency or creativity.

Feel sorry for any striker who plays for us.

 

The lack of urgency after their equaliser was astonishing.

 

Speaking of which, thought the ref was excellent.

 

Pretty much guaranteed we are the weakest team in the draw for the QFs

 

Just had a look at the cup fixtures for tomorrow and I see a path to the final opening up .... with just all of the top teams standing in our way

 

Martin's post match comments could be interesting.

Ok I agree most frustrating watching the inability to put Stoke to the sword. But it’s a win and regardless of the ‘just about’ stuff, it was nice to walk away feeling better for at least a win!

 

Lot of negatives from that performance. Ok, not the side that will play Saturday but even RM’s substitutions, tactics, blah, blah were naff. Any positives? I can’t think of any (for Saturday). Maybe one, Dyche will be over confident?

 

Only positive for Saturday is that it is the weekend.

Definitely the main positive of the night for me outside of the fact we went through.

What, the character that blew another 2 goal lead and very nearly lost to a Championship side? Give me a break.

 

TBH if this was FM I'd have given them the "throw the water bottle" treatment despite the late winner which would have resulted in mutiny within the squad.
