Tremendous song that. One of their best, although Nightswimming gets me every time.

Sorry again to ramble about my lads band. They are playing a gig next weekend in Derby. An old famous pub called The Bless (was the Blessington Carriage). I havent been to his recent gigs because they are treading their own path, and tbh they have been in some far flung places like Manchester!! The Bless though is a pub I have some brilliant memories of, from my own younger days. I have seen some brilliant local bands there, back in the early 90s was my time in there. I havent been back since probably early 2000s. So 20 years on I am going to get dressed up, take my wife who I courted in The Bless c92, and watch our lad play a gig there. Weird how life brings you back to places, and music in particular.

My good lady will probably cry, I will probably moan about the price of a pint. I bought a pint of Guiness for my lad the other week - £5.20. WTF i think is the phrase!

Superb band. When asked why they split up with everyone expecting them to cite musical differences and they wanted to go and do their own thing, no. The answer given was they wanted to watch more day time telly. Brilliant haha.

Don’t Knock Upon My Door - The Vintage Explosion (Live at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall)

1st song A change is gonna come, ex Sam Cooke song.

Not my usual type of music but this bloke has one of the best voices I have ever heard. If you hear him I guarantee you wont switch off.
To be honest I may have posted this before but worth another listen.

Rod Stewart just went wow when he heard him.

More carry on with the Oasis tickets.

I hate the likes of Viagago who are massively exploiting fans who are desperate to get event tickets...but cancelling them seems to me just as bad from the official ticket organisers. Essentially selling the same ticket twice just to make a few quid.

Hope nobody on here is affected by it.

Ordered Jerron "Blind Boy" Paxton's vinyl on Saturday night solely off the back of this performance on Jools.

    Incredible talent.
