Good player Stu Pearson. Obviously mixed the years up with that 2-0 win but I was convinced Pearson scored in a Game v Man Utd. Wondering now if it was in red shirt of Manure against City in the return game at Old Trafford?
surely the fact the Doc was here for a short while and saw pancho at close hand is why they signed him
A more likely explanation than stadium ITK gossip. Good job we have the internet to stop all this rumour mongering.
It shows how things have changed when you think that someone would be daft to leave Brentford to go to Man Utd.
He should've walked after the FA Cup win at the end of last season, but I suppose the temptation of a contract extension and a few extra million for a few more months in Manchester was too strong
Google is your friend. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rúben_Amorim He is highly sought after. Which is understandable if you read his managerial record. A number of clubs have been after him for a while.
He’s someone who I mentioned we should get when we appointed McCann, he’s going to be an excellent signing.
It didn’t know as much about this bloke as I got from googling. Had heard of him and knew is he is highly sought after but that was it until I googled him and came up,with that wikipedia stuff.
Not every game he played but I’ve seen most games he managed. I watch a lot of Portuguese football including Liga 3 where Braga B played some time around 2018ish and I first noticed this guys management style. Have followed him ever since.
A gamble? Good record in Portugal. But no experience outside and still relatively young. Could be a masterstroke, could be a(nother) disaster?
