This thread: YOU'RE GETTING SACKED IN THE MORNING. made Masky Of Llandaff chuckle, underneath that title it read IRISH BLUEBIRD, thought about time that man from the TWAAT BAR was removed....taking the man from Bridgend with him....out I say! Masky Of Llandaff
Just contemplating Ten Hag's demise. As there is a transfer window for players, should there be a 'hiring window' for managers? I deliberately said hiring rather than sacking, because, as in our case, you may need to move a manager on sooner rather than later. It might focus the minds of the owners in terms of getting the right man. Some bonkers decisions at Manure though. A few months after giving Ten Hag a 2 year contract, it costs them £15M to get rid of him. Given the doubts surrounding him, a 2 year contract on those terms seems ludicrous. Letting him spend half a billion is another error on their part. Poor old Sir Alex has been sacked to cut costs as a result. Man U going down the tube.
Hope so but I suspect Ratcliffe won't let that happen. Like us their Interim Manager, van Nistelrooy, having the support of the team, could turn things around. He did very well in Holland but, as he did there, is very capable of throwing Teddy from the pram if he doesn't get his own way. Despite winning trophies at Eindhoven he resigned from there with one game of the season re.aing citing "lack of support". Or will they think they are too big to do that and go for a more established name like Amorin?
Can't be that loose. They made employees pay their own way to the cup final and sacked Fergie from his Ambasadorial role.
Manchester United value as of May 2024 is $6.6 billion which represents an increase of 8.7% over last year. As in many walks of life, cut backs will be purely to increase the payouts to owners.
Whoa, wasn't expecting that.... It's not the first time they've had a rocky patch but he's always steered them through it. Feel a bit sorry for the guy TBH.
Agreed also. Club directors have very short memories and little forward vision. As we well know. Robbie's views will be interesting.
