I don't mind beef sausages, that said there's not much food wise I won't eat. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
As a kid in the 60s, beef sausages were about 30% of sausages available in butchers shops in Hull, but have since become quite scarce. Yes you can still get them in Tescos. I quite like them.
Belloumi is one of them who clearly has the raw talent and will probably be ace once it clicks into place with his decision-making and stuff. The fact we have him on a long contract is encouraging. Kamara is maybe similar too.
You're always seeking out the negatives!! Surely even you can find a bit of positivity in the FACT that they contain 'defatted soya grits'...
Two reasons - the BSE crisis in the 1990s meant that sausages made from the ****ty parts of a cow fell out of favour and customers stopped buying them and second is cultural, it's considered that there's better things to make from beef (impossible to get native lamb sausages where I live for the same reasons).
Lots of beef sausage, and bacon, in the middle east, the bacon tastes really bad and the sausage just tastes wrong. Plenty of venison sausage around these days, which is ok but pork just works better, at least to me. I think pork works with herbs better than beef would so you can have variations on the plain pork variety.
Bizarre programme gaffe Those who bought a programme for Hull's match with Burnley last week were left bemused when the crest of none other than Blackburn Rovers - the Lancashire side's main rival - was published above the visitors' team.
Minor detail and there's only, what, 10 miles between them!..Nice one City. Does Strawberry still produce the progs?
