On Isidors goal, just watching again. Obviously the technique was brilliant on both the pass and the finish. But the thing that stands out for me is the run he made. As soon as Neil got the ball he moved into the space. That’s what not having a striker last season missed for us. Nobody made those runs.
Very true. But my take away was the press. Well into the second half that we were very comfortable in and we were relentless.
Cracking performance today, made Oxford look very ordinary today, something no other club has managed to do this season, every player was on their game and I’m struggling for a MOM , but special mention for Jobe,Neil and especially O’nien
The blue label is out. Been a few year since I had the bad news of a miscarriage but everything is in the up. Literally have a 2 year old daughter, loving life. Shane about the boiler going journey and needing a new one ha. Thanks to those who helped.
Haha no comment on that one!! My mate is obsessed with Rigg, he 1st scouted him at 14 n been wanting united to sign him since then. Been to watch him twice this season, was at the Wednesday game as well Scouting tickets go quickly at our games now, he said that was never the case before - unsurprisingly
That's great to hear tbh. We are clearly doing a lot of things right behind the scenes with the youth teams.
Also thought he was class but frustrating at times. Made the same run so many times beating 3+ men in the process to not get a shot away. Almost as if he’s trying to do the leg work for someone else to walk the ball in

Anybody know when we were last 5 points clear at the top of a league? Don’t think it happened in league one. We must be looking at least 15 years?
Got vibes of Reid and keane era’s today in terms of being able to get other teams to worry about us ..
cheers again RTB...(forgot earlier) a few have said oxford were poor, i honestly don't think they were... a newly promoted team with no 'big money' to boost the squad, on a 5 game unbeaten run has to tell people that they are no mugs, i hope they stay up as i reckon they deserve another chance simply because they tried to play football. now compare them to luton who were at home, newly relegated with the premiership payout and parachute money, now they were poor, trying to play that third division hoof ball and fall over, cry at the ref bollox...i know which team i would rather see go down.
Thank you all. Appreciate it. I have an 8 and now a 2 year old going. We get on, and get to work.. Thanks for the messages.
Agree thought Onien was outstanding today his runs out of defence carrying the ball turned the play time and again So pleased for him great possitive character to have at the club
Onien is a key part of our defence and our team. I was genuinely worried when he went down injured today. Mepham getting the plaudits but o9 is a class act himself. Alese, Ballard, mepham, hjelde... They've all looked good playing with o9 as a partner
