The general play is a lot better than what was dished up against Bristol City. The way we play out from the back is an upgrade on Rosie. More dynamic, better movement. The worry is not creating chances. It's a big worry. But you have to give him the season at least.

Hasnt it been acknowledged in Germany his teams did that? So the logical thing is it isn’t there yet?
Uninspiring and mediocre, not sure if it's down to tactics or personnel, but it isn't working, without what could be considered a decent striker you could forgive the bluntness, but it's the style we are attempting which seems to nullify our midfield creativity, certainly concerning. Got to ask would another manager get better out of what we have available, not sure who is out there that would sort it tbh
If you give him a full season you waste time that another manager could use to implement a different system in advance of any summer recruitment. If we’re gonna miss out on the top six, we might as well use the second half of the season as a really thorough pre-season and finish mid-table. If he’s sacked next June, we run the risk of repeating the mistakes of this summer. For what it’s worth I don’t think he’ll go, as that would involve Acun admitting he made a mistake. Considering the summer recruitment was slow, Tan was sacked, and Acun is getting criticised in other areas of his business, I don’t think he’ll add something else to the list of things he has to deal with.

Or give Walter a fair go of it. Amazing the concentration of experts on here with the nous to make a reasoned decision on Walter in such a short space of time.
Unless he gets us in a relegation scrap I'd keep him tbh rather than having to find another one, again. We're not there yet, but it is looming.
I'm not in the Walter out camp, yet, but he's getting close to thin ice.....since the end of the transfer window I think our performances have been largely ok and showing promise but points are a must. He's undoubtedly hampered by having 3 strikers of a similar standard to wilks, magennis and eaves but even so, in a game like today against a limited derby team we should be hammering them. I can't work out if it's his system or the players but we have a real problem with the back 4, they always play the easy pass or a long one into th channels, there's little risk taking, is it their technical ability? what Walters told em to do, a lack of movement in front of them or just a lack of faith in the ability of those in front to control the ball, genuinely don't know. massive game for him next weekend, home matches have been a chore since before his time and a bad result will see an angry reaction from the crowd.He desperately needs goals and a win
As Walter alluded to in the post match interview with humberside, once the players are out on the pitch it's down to them. He specifically mentioned the cross Bedia didn't toe poke in and panda coming out off his line for their goal. There was the Kamara one he put in row z and Balloonie put one over the bar. None of those were any thing to do with Walter.
If City give him a fair crack now, there’s no point sacking him the summer either. If they stick now, they have to stick long-term so the rest of the season is at least useful to the squad and Walter’s development. Then the question becomes whether he’s the right choice for the long term? Could you confidently say that he’s shown enough to be given all that time?
When our players couldn’t do it last season under Rosenior it was down to over-coaching, but now under Walter they’re suddenly the ones responsible after all?
