Events, dear boy, events. A huge challenge for politicians, and also for people who write quizzes. The Thursday quiz would like to start by pointing out that last week there was a question about alleged cheating at the world conker championship. We would like to take this opportunity to clarify that “King Conker” David Jakins has subsequently been cleared of any alleged wrongdoing. There now follows 15 questions on news, topical silliness, general knowledge and pop culture, hopefully none of which we will have to retract or clarify next week.

The JOE Friday pub quiz week 422
I got 19 of 25 right

I can understand why others have said they felt they could have done better. I even got the Premier League one wrong. What a berk!!

 

I am, walking along the Thames embankment, little legs over the moon with Jobe scoring

 

19/25 as others have stated should have got at least 2 more but not many guesses in the total so overall I am happy with that score.
