We are a fickle bunch, 4-weeks ago records are tumbling and we're the greatest. I just wish we could read a situation instead of full power, live or die, on every ball. Its like 11 Taarabts in the team.
Who thought we had better spinners and better players of spin than Pakistan before the series started? Not me. We could have played better this test especially batting first, but the pitch was prepared for the home team, as is their right, and they made full use of it.
No more tours of Asia until 2027, so we can't use the spin excuse. However we tour New Zealand very soon, and they're playing rather well in India at the moment !
No complaints from Stokes or McCullum about the pitches. The last two Tests very much favoured 'win the toss, win the match', but England won the toss in this one and lost anyway.
That was tremendous to watch, he is so powerful. Second biggest successful run chase ever in the Caribbean.
