He can keep his cards close to his chest all he wants, that’s his decision to make.

However, I find him frustrating in the same way you would if there was someone new at work and you kept trying and asking them questions, such as if they have any plans at the weekend, and they just respond with single word answers. Eventually you’ll stop trying to get along because it feels like they have no interest in forming long-term relationships.

Success has always been influenced by how well liked you are, and because of social media, everything is about personality these days, whether someone likes it or not. It’s not enough to simply be good at what you do anymore.

It’s also easier to overlook someone’s faults if you like them.

Hopefully it was just impact and he went off before making it more serious… still wouldn’t risk him as we look a much better outfit with him on one side and Belloumi on the other

They have supposedly gone back to old gold but it doesn’t look like their classic old gold kits.they had under Stan Cullis and some times before. Their kit they wore when they won the FA Cup in 1893 looked pretty decent.<laugh>

Fair point, I also find his interviews a bit tedious. I do remember a Hamburg fan on X saying before he joined, he was usually very prickly with the media, it seems he has carried on that trait with us.

Does Pep get excused for his press? he’s hardly the warmest friendliest guy with the media because he knows they are always looking for an angle maybe Tim now knows what our press is like .

Goes to show though, if you shoot you might score. Current Tigers take note.

I remember a game there, must have been somewhere around 2005- 7 I guess, where I managed to get tickets in the home end from a Derby fan I knew through work.
They went in front early doors and Stuart Green equalised with a cracking volley just before half time. I have to confess, I momentarily forgot where I was but fortunately, as I was halfway out of my seat my wife dragged me back down or it might have turned ugly. Best bit though was standing on the concourse at half time watching the reruns of the goals and smiling smugly while the Derby supporters were acknowledging what a great strike it was by Green.
