    Bristol City v Leeds United

    Sat 26th October| Ashton Gate

Leeds make the four hour journey down to Ashton Gate for a lunchtime kick-off with Bristol City on Saturday, knowing victory could take them to the top of the table.

Four wins and two draws from their last six games have propelled the Whites to third in the table, only three points behind early pacesetters Sunderland. Daniel Farke's side sit seven places and as many points above the Robins and have a goal difference of thirteen.

Long term injuries to Max Wober, Ethan Ampadu and Ilea Gruev has forced Daniel Farke to explore the free agent market. They announced the capture of 34yo midfielder Josuha Guilavogui on Wednesday afternoon, but it's going to take a while for the Frenchman to play catch-up, as he hasn't played competitively since last season.

Junior Firpo will miss the trip, after collecting his fifth booking of the season against Watford midweek. Daniel Farke must choose between new signing Isaac Schmidt who thus far has accumulated just nine minutes of game time since signing from St Gallen almost two months ago, or rely on experienced veteran Sam Byram.

Largie Ramazani's knock he took against the Hornets could be worse than first feared. The 23yo limped off after just 14 minutes after turning his ankle. His replacement Manor Solomon looked a few yards off the pace, having only recently returned from injury. It remains to be seen whether the gaffer reshuffles the front line with Wilfred Gnonto switching to the left wing, and bringing Dan James back to the right.

Cameron Pring, Rob Atkinson, Ayman Benarous and Robert Dickie are all rated highly doubtful for the hosts, whilst Joe Williams serves a one match ban. Manager Liam Manning will have to dig deep to come up with suitable replacements.

    Bristol City 0 - 1 Leeds United

    ChatGPT

    Bristol City 1 - 2 Leeds United

    Google Gemini

    Bristol City 1 - 1 Leeds United

After 11 games, myself and ChatGPT have got exactly 1 scoreline correct, Gemini has got 2. On a totally arbitrary points scoring system, ChatGPT leads with 18 points, followed by Gemini on 14 and me on 12 :(

All four your mentioned above have been out for months - Rob Atkinson is apparantly ready for recall be like a new signing quality defender who can score goals as well-Rob Atkinson and Rob Dickie will be our regular two centre backs when both fit- both capable of scoring goals especially from corners and set pieces.

Rob Atkinson (ACL, Hamstring, Groin) & Adam Murphy (Quad) are now available for selection after recovering.

    injured players

The other Seven Players * = First Team Regular (5)
    • *Rob Dickie-CB-Hamstring-2wks
    • *Haydon Roberts LB/LCB-Hamstring- 2wks
    • *Cameron Pring LB/LCB-Gashed Ankle) 3wks
    • *Sam Bell LW/RW-Hamstring- 4 weeks
    • Ayman Benarous Att Midfield-Hamstring-Late Dec/Jan
    • Rae Nelson-LW- 3 weeks-Hamstring
    • *Scott Twine-Quad-2 weeks
Have a good trip down guys should be a good game especially if we can replicate the Stoke form midweek-i honestly can say it is the best i have seen city play in years.
As of yesterday there were a few tickets left for a sell out.

he means half the time you make it up, the other half you completely invent. Hope that’s cleared it up.

Back to the game, the Bristols (my favourite rhyming slang) are in form and looking a good side. Tough game this one.

Think this year we’re the ones ruining teams good records. Sheff Utd, Sunderland’s (home) to name a couple.
Concerned about the injuries we’ve picked up, but without them we’d have still been waiting for Tanaka and Rothwell to break through. Glad we’ve got the French guy (even though I’ve never seen him play). In general they’ve not made any mistakes in the recruitment this summer (and hopefully now autumn).

Lots to be positive about. I’m going for 2-0 Leeds tomorrow. MOT :1980_boogie_down::emoticon-0148-yes:.
