I think what the Luton fans need to think about is that we won't need to play like that in other matches....it's to counter their own ****e approach.....and we're not clear at the top for no reason!

The opinion most have though,is based on what they've seen in the most recent 90 mins.....often not even that long!:emoticon-0102-bigsm
I do want to say, however, that we have a number of posters on here, who, quite obviously, have a clear understanding of the game, and whose analysis is highly valued by me...and,I'm sure, many others.

Every group of fans say the same two things, even Sheff Wed incredibly.

    1) Sunderland aren't very good
    2) The game revolved entirely around the goals we scored

They always ignore how many chances we had as it doesn't support their argument.

Luton didn't play well because their tactics didn't work and they didn't create more chances than us. In reality neither Rigg nor Mundle had a chance when they scored, both goals were ten times braver than launching endless balls into the box.

Watching the game back all you can hear is their manager screaming at them to launch the ball ...

... ffs man, how many times does he have to repeat himself <laugh>

FWIW and as I said a few times last night, and I know many disagreed. Luton were really good. Awful, awful football to watch, but really good. No way they finish where they are now. I'd be very surprised if they didn't get up near top 8 by end of season.

If its true they've changed their style of play back to what we saw last night, and its only us and Watford they've played that style against (and they beat Watford 3-0), I can see them winning a lot of games in the next few months.

I’m going to watch it again today, I can’t be measured during the game I get too caught up in it all, felt like the Alamo at the time I was a nervous wreck for the best part of 90mins :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Now 5/1 second favourites to win the league (behind Leeds). Well done to anyone who got on at 33s pre season.

There'll be lots of teams who succumb to the Luton style.....and,they may well end up close to the top. However, our young lads have taken it on and stuffed them!

Only Leeds and Sunderland, in the top 6, have won their last two games …

… Sheff Utd have lost their last two.

I’ve said previously that I don’t believe the relegation three are as good as last season’s. This could be a perfect storm because players like Jobe, Hume, Rigg, Mundle, etc, are showing how mature they’re becoming.

If we keep beating teams like Luton, Hull, Cardiff, etc, we don’t need to do more than draw with the likes of Leeds.

Absolutely spot on. We've got ourselves in a very good position. Up to us to maintain it....and I think we can.

Agree with you mate. Particularly true with Aleksic. In an ideal world we are a couple of goals up around the hour mark and we can get him some minutes whilst giving one of the other midfielders a breather.

The lad seems very highly rated, looking forward to seeing what he can do.

My guess is for Roberts to come back in for Rigg. Rigg had a big 90 minutes last night, and I reckon he'd do great coming in for Browne after 70 minutes against tired legs

Riggy will play every match....if his head is ok,which I'm sure it is, he doesn't need a physical rest...he's 17.

My only criticism of last night, we didn’t cover Morris at the back post.
