It was silly, outrageous, but that’s Luke and hope he never changes.

Not for me. He got a yellow card. He was just winding them up he didn’t actually do anything other than that jump. I don’t see any punishment coming

Interesting, I thought jobe had a quieter game for his standards. Still a good performance from him

It does take a bit of getting your head round the fact we are happy to defend.

Maybe borne of years of us being unable to stand up under pressure it’s hard to sit in comfort, but I didn’t feel like we were going g to concede at the end.

Even when it’s blind panic, or appears to be, we always seem to have a man there. This group of players couldn’t defend for **** at times last season so the coaching and direction is magnificent.

It’s only really fell down at Plymouth, Leeds were just a very good side going forward and that happens.

The fact we can turn attack into defence both sides and centre now, and the pace we can do it at, is a thing of beauty.

Isidor has been great but needs to work on his strength, Connolly has no issues there lads like a bison so that option is looking great. Some of Connolly hold up and link up work is his cameo last night was stunning. His touch is absolutely superb.

I firmly believe we will go back for Bamba as well, the options and depth are really starting to pile up, it’s like we rode a storm last season to ride a wave this time.

Of course, no way we could predict Regis impact, but I think the manpower we’ve had could have worked out several ways with good coaching.

Everything is just working out. Mepham has been a stunning signing, just shows the difference to PL standard. That said we have to remember he has played a lot of PL games he isn’t a PL young lad or backup. Connolly looks great, Isidor been great. Mundle is unplayable. Cirkin is Cirkin.

The way we’ve got these new options, that have also pulled the players we already had into better shape is amazing.

Jobe & Rigg continues to you utterly astound me with their development rate and consistency. 17 & 19 and utterly effortless and dominant it is fantastic to see.

I’m still more interested in the playoff gap than top 2 at the minute but I am starting to think ‘we could ya knar…’

Did you notice the fingers pulling the Luton players nostrils, that’s the part that will get him a ban more than the leap into the melee,

I thought Luton actually played it wrong .. their press meant the game was played in only 35- 40 yards of the pitch . They don’t have the players to break down such a packed box and rely on hoof ball or second bounce .. A lottery really . The ref allowed their physicality and only when they blew out of steam could we get to play … very very satisfying win .

Something happened mid-second half in our box. O9 reacted and it looked like he was going to punch someone. Not sure what caused it, but something happened which wound him up u characteristically. Not sure if you could see it on the telly, just wonder if that was a bit of retribution at the end.

I thought Jobe was excellent second half. In the first when we were under pressure, we'd play it short and lose it straight away in midfield. Second half he stepped in more and rarely lost the ball once he received it, despite being immediate swarmed by one or two of their players. Very calm and had an air of vast experience

Nor me. Sky have been Mag sympathisers since 1992....and if they can spin anything at all against us,they will.

He physically dominated the midfield. Which considering who we were playing, and how they were playing, is a sensational performance.

I think he's been so good this season we're forgetting how good he is occasionally.

Whatever the reason its usually good for a laugh, as long as it doesn’t affect the outcome of the match.

Said it a few times now but what has impressed me the most is we still haven't performed at our best for a game yet. I know it's very rare for a team to put a complete 90 minute performance together, especially in the Championship, but we still have a couple gears to go up

We have as good a starting line up in the league imo, we have 4 really good Championship CBs (mepham is PL class) which not many teams have, we have 4 really good CMs (hopefully with 2 more in sameh n Aleksic), we have pace n tricky in the wide area and we have 3 good strikers!!

We have options in most positions (probably fullback being the main area of concern) and we still have room to grow as a team

I'm not getting ahead of myself at all as it's still early but the 1 thing you need from promotion winners is a hard working, well organised, dangerous team - we are all 3 of those at the minute

Having had a few drinks, during and after the game, I'm having a late start so I'm looking through a few clips of our fans from last night and some of theirs. The Luton fans keep banging on about how we're not very good and won't go up playing like that ...

... it's actually mystifying how little football fans can know about football.

We don't normally play like that but you sometimes have to fight fire with fire.

The fact that we’ve won multiple games playing multiple ways in itself shows we are a good side, let them keep writing us off I say

This turnaround to the Oxford game is pretty intense. And the lads will be literally battered and bruised from last night.

I don't think he'll start but I'd be very surprised if we didn't see Aleksic at some point on Saturday.

That part is very true, but it still doesn’t stop every single one of us having an opinion. If we all knew as much as we think we do then we’d all be making a living out of the game.
