Pleased about this, I've got tickets to the Swansea match, coming back from Uni on the friday for it. Can't wait.

 

The best thing about Griff is that you just don't know when or where he may appear. Your avatar highlights that perfectly.

On topic though, I wonder if they're still going to make use of the programmes and booklets about Speed's career that they were preparing for this weekend.

 

To be fair Leeds probably invited her first, some people do feel affiliated to more than one club which I think was defo the case with Speedo.

 

Speedo did admit he didn't even know where his Leeds medal was and the saddest part of his carrear was leaving Newcastle.

 

I knew he said he enjoyed it more at Newcastle, didn't know that about his medals, seems strange to think that at the start of his career he was bidding to stop us getting promoted.

 

I was genuinely gutted I couldn't get a ticket for tomorrow because I didn't get paid till Wednesday gone and they'd sold out by then, for entirely selfish reasons, I'm so so pleased about this as I can now give my respect for Speedo at the Swansea game. Also, don't you think it will seen more poignant it being a Welsh team?

 

Plus the Welsh lads can help us out with Bread of Heaven.

Yeah, as the Welsh will appreciate him more, its like we wouldn't appreicate someone like Stan Collymore in the same way for instance if he'd done himself in.

My tickets arrived today, looking forward to visiting your fine City again. Gary Speed was a fine man and had the privilege of talking to him last season after the Leeds game a true gent who will be sadly missed. I'm sure we will give you a fine rendition of Bread of Heaven in memory of Gary, just make sure to bring a hanky, I will.

 

I think we could stretch out to "Hymns and Arias" for you too as well as "Bread of Heaven". Hope you lot are going to join in with these songs.

In all seriousness rest assured it's worked out better that your tribute is against us, a Welsh team couldn't be more apt as opposition. Whatever your clubs tribute is for the great man we will definitley join in with it.

 

A good thing because Leeds do theirs first, ours wouldn't be as effective at the same time.
