And this lad by the way! We knew he was good, but my god he is exceptional. Enjoy him whilst he’s here.
Heeeeeeeereeees Regis..... https://x.com/SunderlandAFC/status/1849199921930424670?t=Gvf1r2JrBFtH4uO0eAOOLQ&s=19
It doesn't matter if their goal was onside, if O'Nien pretended to have an injury or if we wasted time at the end ... ... once Luton tear up the rule book there are no rules. Suck it up you worthless little club.
Before the Hill game I think 4 of next 5 away. Always thought that would be real test. 2 games in we are exceeding my hopes. Let's keep it up at home next please.
He properly loved that result, can't keep the smile off his face on a few occasions there. I like the way he speaks. I wasn't a fan of how we were operating first half, but he's clearly give the players the belief that of they could break the press we would get good opportunities and he was of course correct.
Good solid stuff as well isn't it. We aren't having to perform miracles to get these wins, we're playing well but not playing out of our skin and it looks like it'll go on indefinitely. Regis and Mepham were a fantastic couple of signings. Not all down to them but they could well be the difference between doing ok and being a premier league side next season.
Cracking win that. The lads will have stiff necks in the morning, hoooooooffffff. Bit of a disciplinary tightrope now, Hume, Jobe and Rigg all on 4 yellows. Hopefully they don't all get a 5th at the same time. New assistant seemed to he well involved on the sideline too.
Difficult watch the first half I feared the worst, but this young side once again showed resilience and 2 moments of absolute quality again and we march on. Sky is the limit for these young guns I actually cannot get over how good we are doing. Amazing this, long way to go but simply wow.
The way we played at the start of the season and how we are now seem slightly different, we're not as fluent as we were but we're getting results. I reckon we can get stronger as the season goes on
@JamesCopley_ Hume giving it to the Kenilworth Road crowd as he walks off the pitch, who are not amused. #SAFC **** em!
