Commentators claiming it was a later pen . Absolute biased fool. He didn't notice their No 9 with his arms wrapped around our defender for that free kick
still think we’re too light when injuries start hitting at full back but I’m certainly not writing us off and with every passing week it feels more possible
Luton are just Bully boys very limited team . Poor mans wimbledon who had far more skill than this lot .. very pleasing win . We know they can stand up for themselves this season now .. class from our average team
If injuries hit us there - agree tho that's the position of concern depth wide We have some class players still to come back into the squad, still feel January is massive this yr in the league - opportunity for teams to really separate themselves from the rest
There is something about him I cant quite put my finger on. I know his junior coach at Brum very well. Same lad who coached Jude. He said Jude at 14 was extraordinary. I have a feeling our Bellingham has that younger brother mentality. As coaches it is not uncommon. It is a real challenge to ubderstand the younger brother ceiling. Often it is higher. Imagine...
It really helps having a premier league centre back playing. He was brilliant. And Mepham was great as well
As mad as it is, Ballard has been out 4th best centre back this season in terms of performance (though Alese can't stay fit so it probably doesn't count).
Correct. As much as I think O’nien is a limited player and Ballard will probably go on to be a better player as he’s got youth on his side, I’ll happily admit I was wrong about him being not good enough for us and he’s undroppable at the minute. I think having Mepham in the sweeper role allows O’nien a bit of freedom to rush out to make challenges and attempt to win the ball early which he’s much better at than chasing with the ball in behind
