Everyone would have taken a point before KO, bar the goal and the last min we looked comfortable at the back, first half we looked very good also. Played the top 2 in our last 2 games and bar a minute or 2 in each game we have nullified them and looked just as good in parts and better in parts. Huge improvement over Norwich and we, imo are heading in the right direction although a little slower then I would like/expected. Roll on Saturday
Although disappointed to lose a winning position and have to settle for the draw, I thought that was an excellent hard-fought point. Puerta was the pick of the bunch for me, and we really went off the bill when he was subbed. In fact, that midfield of Simons, Puerta and Slater was probably the best I’ve seen this season. Draw was a fair result. Drameh was excellent again, too.
Stopped the rot, scored a goal against one of the promotion favourites. That will do for me. Hopefully start climbing up the table over the next few games
I thought Burnley where poor really, same as most sides I've seen at home. I do think our style kills us sometimes, but first half it maybe showed what it could be.
What a real gift that is to Burnley,Parker must be absolutely stunned and delighted that they weren't on the end of a 2-0 or 3-0 pumping!! We had them by the balls and let them off the hook for no reason...P!ss poor 2nd half and we very nearly gave them a win in extra-time...FFS!!!
Puerta has barely played any football, we need to keep him fit. We were under the cosh. Should’ve been Zambrano with Simons going higher for me
Still improving defensively, not improving offensively. Puerta and Hughes looking better every game. Are we allowed to mention Pandur's performance? Ah, no, I'm hearing he's one of the best goalkeepers in the division, so forget I mentioned it.
I'm not sure there was enough in it to be anything hugely serious and he was moving etc afterwards, I think it was a twist and then he/we didn't want to risk it
