    Alan Pardew has revealed that he is to blame for the conspiracy theories surrounding Cheick Tiote's continued absence from the Newcastle United first team picture.

    "It's a niggling injury, it's not his groin, and there's nothing else going on"

    "It's his knee. Cheick is desperate to play after missing 3 big games, and he's a bit down about it."

    "We need to manage Cheick carefully, he is a very important player."

    What do you lot make of this then? Does it make anyone else a little bit more content?

    Tiote likes pain, so I don't see why we need to be careful. He's desperate to play Pardew, whether his knee is ****ed or not!

    Not good as knee's can be very unpredictable, I go to the gym to get fitness up and sometimes I'll have a small pain but not be up to it for 6 weeks or more, where as other times I'll have a very sore pain and be back within the week.

    I'm sure his knee was mentioned weeks ago as it was Best who had the groin injury.

    I didnt know people thought it was his groin .. I dont mind him taking longer to come back than expected, as long as he comes back healthy and doesnt go anywhere!! .. We are lucky Guthrie is doing well.

    you have to be sane first <ok>


    no need to rush him back as guthrie has done a good job but i will say i personally think cabaye plays better with tiote as him and guthrie play a very similar game

    The confusion about it being his groin is because of the mistake in (at least) the Sky article they posted in the past couple days.

    I was never worried about it being a conspiracy about him being sold or some **** like that...when it comes to all of the players that have come in in the past year or two and proven to be great talents, if the club wants to sell them, I'm sure they'll wait longer and maximise their value
