Press Conference - Le Bris: "Patrick said after the game that it was unusual to have the ball so often one-on-one and he struggled a bit. It could be an option to switch wings during the game."

My choice for Luton on reflection would be Connolly top, Isidor right, Browne in for Rigg. That left back and his crosses are their weapon and both would add something positive and protect us

I get what you’re saying and I’m looking forward to seeing more of Connolly but Isidor deserves to remain through the middle imo. He’s done well

I still think that and I never thought he'd be gone in January ...

... does anyone else think RLB has plans for him?

    Thanks heaven’s for that.

I certainly don’t want people who are financially reckless with our money like the last two …

… or reckless with his own like Short.

Thing is, if we stagnate now, and don't invest, in 5 months time we will have dropped in our league standings.

Thing is, if we do 'invest' we might stagnate and end up with a bigger wage bill and players who are worth less than we've paid.

As things stand the club is in a better position than I've ever seen in over half a century ...

... not only are we not in debt we can generate multi-millions, any time we choose, by selling a player who's cost next to nothing.

KLD owns a squad worth twice what he paid for the entire club ... another three years and SAFC could be be worth double that again.

We've tried 'investing' before and ended up with players we've had to pay to leave, sorry but that's not for me.

    I
    I agree to a point.
If he gets rid of the 5 players destined to leave and bring in 1 or 2 as replacements from our real scouting hero SH, that must be an advance on what we have.
