Postal address v administrative area. Like Ilford, which is both in Essex and the London Borough of Redbridge.
Surely Lords is still in Middlesex!!! In fact the cricket club is probably all that is left that even references Middlesex.
As far as I know, strength is only required in football to keep your opponent off the ball, not for a wrestling competition while the ball is dead. But we interpret the rules differently.
Madrid really are the definition of mentality monsters. 2-0 down and the game finishes 5-2 with Vini Jr getting a hattrick.
Three wins and three clean sheets for Villa in the CL. They top the table. Good Ebening is doing a fantastic job there.
He's been ****ing dreadful for most of the season. I can't actually believe he lasted 87 minutes today. He was so sloppy, gave the ball away carelessly and almost gifted Shakhtar a chance with an underhit backpass on the edge of our own box. Didn't create anything, either. It's increasingly frustrating that Nwaneri isn't getting any game time while we're having to watch Trossard stink up the pitch. Up until the Leicester game, I felt Arteta was doing well tactically, but since then, it's like he's lost his mind. There's a real sense of cautiousness, fear and pragmatism that is going to hinder us if he persists like this.
You still eeked out the win tbf - although far from convincing! And Calafiori injured, so not a great night all in all.
Atalanta battered Shakhtar 3-0 (away) in the last round of fixtures. We should have been winning this comfortably yet we made it seriously hard work. It's been a poor return from the international break. Arteta confirmed Saka unlikely to play in the Liverpool game, too. So no Saka, Odegaard, Timber, Calafiori or Saliba against the current league leaders...it's looking ominous. Think it's going to take a herculean effort to win against them on the weekend. A draw is the best we can hope for to be honest.
Nwaneri - Moore Trossard - Werner Stubborn managers desperate for certain senior players to come good so not giving the promising youngsters as much game time as they should. It’s a North London thing.
I'm with Ange on not subbing on Moore against the Spanners, given the challenges they were putting in in the late stages. Better to throw on Werner to get kicked at that point
You'd know better than me, obviously, but I also get the feeling that he's burning players out again. How many times has he started about 8 of those that were in the XI against Shakhtar? Meanwhile the likes of Jorginho and Zinchenko barely set foot on the pitch. They'll have to when things get busy and they'll be rusty.
