Yeah Kamara really.. wasn't very good was he? I'm hoping it's down to him not liking to play on the left but he's really not shown anywhere near enough for the price paid.
He is still young, he needs to build his confidence, as yet, he just seems unsure what to do most of the time.
Players develop at different rates, Philogene had already had a season at Cardiff in he Championship, whereas, this is the first season in the championship for Kamara. I'm sure he will get better, just needs time to adjust.
They definitely do, I'm merely suggesting at the price we paid for Kamara and the age he's at I'm sure we would be hoping he would be showing a bit more by now. I think it's a shame we haven't seen him on the right side to at least see what he's capable of. And in that I include the fact he's battling to even start games, which suggests it's not as if he's lighting up the training pitch.
Yes why don’t we have a defender in the rearguard when we have a corner. One extra man up front surely can’t increase the odds of scoring from a corner by vey much
This is the very definition of disaster class. We were well in the game and it was there for the taking until this suicidal and completely unnecessary no-man-back corner routine cost us for the 4th time this season in only 10 games. You couldn’t make it up.
Realistically, City need 60 more points to make the playoffs this season. There are 36 games left so we’d need 1.67 points per game. The 2012/13 and 2015/16 seasons are the only two championship campaigns we’ve ever achieved that level of form. If the playoffs are a genuine aim this season, they’re already slipping away and we could be out of the race in just a few games. Soon City will need to decide what they think is the best way to use the rest of the season.
The linos didn’t see anything at all, one of the useless twats just waited to see which way the ref pointed and flagged that way. Madley’s ****e, always was, no way he deserves to be a Group 2 referee. Mehlem should’ve done far better though, it was his error, rather than Madley’s position that cost us the goal.
I don't think Mehlem should be the one blamed for that to be honest. As someone else said, why we didn't have Drameh or Coyle stood on the halfway line just boggles the mind.
Our latest episode talking about Sunderland, we end up weighing in more on the side of the goal being our own fault than Madley's, even though he didn't help things:
Yes something like I'm sorry you feel that way Tim. = Grovelling apology in dipstick's deluded view of the world The handball was thing we can feel hard done by
For me the big question is.... how many goals have our central defenders (swap Hughes for Macca) scored from set pieces.... whats their point of being there...
