Slighty off topic, but it always annoys me that I get charged if I am over 23lbs per bag if I travel. I weigh 11 stone 2 lbs and i may be sitting next to someone weighing 20 stone. I am putting less weight on the plane, but get penalised.
Maybe the person sitting next to you is also 11 stone 2 lbs, but they're wearing all the clothes they plan to use whilst away, rather than putting them in their case. Check their unfeasibly large pockets for spare pairs of shoes, wash kits and the like...
Im sure there is an airline that weighs people before they fly and charges the heavier ones more. Was big outrage from all body positive people about it
https://www.nationalgeographic.com/travel/article/should-airlines-be-weighing-passengers I misremembered the charging more bit, apparently is to know how much fuel the planes need if it’s carrying a bunch of fat ****s
... AND now they're going to get free drugs at your expense TOO Life's a Bitch! And anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something
Elon Musk pledges to give away $1m per day to Pennsylvania voters - BBC News ****. Quite clearly illegal.
Allegedly not, it seems. He isn't buying votes, he claims. Of course if you get $1m and then vote for Harris you'll need to lock up your loved ones.
Two things I would like to pick up on in your very humourous post. I don't think Labour lied their way into power. If we study the % of votes gained, it was only a few percentage points up on the last time. So they arrived in power not by an overwhelming desire of the populace but the drop in the Tory vote who either stayed at home or went for Reform. So for me, they arrived at the seat of Government almost by default. As for being a "BorisLoverboy", I would not wish that on anyone. And I can see that you have better taste than that.
Going to side with righty brothers tonight, I am sure, when I say it is great that the officer who shot Chris Kaba has been found not guilty of murder. Trying to ram through cars while police stand in front of you is not, as the BBC shamefully are still declaring, “unarmed”. It is very much armed.
While I agree with you, this isn't politics. Please revert to off topic thread where I posted about it earlier.
I think it is pretty political. Off topic is the most random assortment of things - how is anyone going to find it?
It was very political when it happened. We had one poster give his totally non partisan, completely and definitely objective view on Police firearms tactics. I wonder if he'll repeat them now the BWV has been released.
They tend to be one & the same. I’ve never met a lefty that can bench more than 100kg. Something about the discipline & self responsibility it requires to be strong tends to heavily select for right wingers
