Agree that Mepham was MotM, read the game like a book and didn't put a foot wrong. Put a hand wrong mind <cool>

Thinking back to Darren Bent's beach ball goal.

In 10 years time there might be a question on the chase....
Isidor Wilson scored a goal against Hull with an assist from....
    A) a Witch
    B) a Ghost
    C) a Zombie

Early days I know but would love if we could get a deal done for Mepham in January. So good and can definitely make the jump to the PL if we were to go up. Seems like a no brainer to me.

Can't blame the ref for that like. He's standing where he should be, yet the Hull player, from the short corner, played it toward him still.

Did the Hull manager refuse RLBs hand shake. Just saw that mentioned. By the way we certainly know what he looks like as he was more on camera than the game

Referee is part of field of play. Can boot the ball into the net off his backside and it’ll still count. Nothing for Hull to complain about :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Back to our goal, the two incidents where the ref got in the way of us were miles worse than what he did for our goal. He moved into Neil on both occasions whereas for the goal the player moved into him. Maybe next time don't leave nobody on the halfway line when you have a corner and you won't concede.

I thought they were very much like Boro. Pretty decent until where it mattered. Where they were sh*te.

So pleased he has nothing to do with Sunderland and never will ...

... imagine being stuck next to him on a train, you'd pull the emergency cord <laugh>

Keep hearing how badly the ref blocked hull player in the run up to our goal. Watched several times and no way did the ref prevent hull from playing on. I can guarantee if hull had scored they wouldn't be bothered.
And mepham was not in the box when he accidentally and totally honesty had the ball run up his arm.
