Yes he did both home & away games that season.

We saw a lot of him at CCS last season; for both our late late very late wins v Soton and Ipswich but also our reverses to QPR and Leeds with one solitary away day a dull 0-0 at Stoke.

    Tom Nield the referee tonight.

Can’t find any City games he’s been involved in.

David Webb on Saturday. A quick glance at the last few seasons shows him to be bit of a Jonah with a series of away defeats.

Well back to the coalface for our lads who better have their thermals and gloves ready for Saturdays trip to the Igloo Stadium.

The man in the middle which I recall was how he would have been termed back in the day is Matthew Donahue.

A rapid rise up the ladder saw the young buck given a couple of PL games last season but he’s been on championship duty this season.

Last seen by us in our dull 1-0 home win to do the double over relegated Huddersfield last season (can anyone actually recall it?) but that’s sadly not in keeping with a series of defeats under his watch.

    Josh Smith next up.

If last seasons spineless capitulation against Leeds is anything to go by he’ll be walking onto the pitch via the red carpet City will lay down again.

He’s infamous for not red carding Madine for assaulting Ng a few seasons back.

No it’s not our new goalkeeping coach but his namesake has the whistle tomorrow night for our first league game under the lights this season

    Danger alert<yikes>

Blobby Madley has the whistle on Sunday.

Granted he helped at PNE last season sending off an opponent and didn’t disallow either of our injury time goals, but he’s still in debit after his previous cock ups.

Mr Kitchen can come again after a five star performance yesterday

Next up is a regular visitor to CCS, Olly Langford. Witnessed much very late drama at the ground last season & was involved in the Watergate scandal the previous one. Did ok in the Welsh derby earlier this campaign.

Fair play, the ref yesterday did have a very good game, as did the linos. I don't think I heard BfB criticise them once, which must be something of a record

    Josh Smith at WBA.

The man who yellow carded Madine for assaulting Perry Ng despite being prewarned it would happen.

His last 4 outings - losses v WBA & Leeds, draw with Leeds & a win at Blackpool

Poor performance by Smith today. Fussy at corners and always looking to blow up for a foul.

Never mind. A good draw against one of the better sides outside the top 3.

I'll take that despite the fussy little man with the whistle.

Naaaarwich will be a different test next week.

Get Reindorf on the bench. He will want to prove his worth against the club which let him go.
