Great night watching the Pretenders at the Arena. A real shame that it was all seating as it kills the atmosphere and energy. Chrissie Hynde on top form and even had a pop (rightly so) at the audience for filming on their phones.
But everyone sitting down doesn’t kill the energy and atmosphere at City games. According to some anyway.
I hope you weren’t one of those people that goes to lots of her concerts so are asked to move off the front row because she gets a bit bored seeing the same people in the crowd…
It's a bit of throwback era for gigs and club nights coming up. I've got Interpol, Therapy?, Ditz, Idles, Fontaine's D.C coming up in the next couple of months, as well as Louie Vega's band and Surgeon (Live). Also taking my 12 year old son to his first ever gig to see a band he likes, called Kaleo. As far as club nights go, it would be hard to top seeing Marcellus Pittman at Phonox a couple of weeks ago. Proper love my Detroit House.
Oasis are cancelling up to 50,000 of their tour tickets sold on resale sites, then reselling them at face value.
Does that mean people who’ve touted them and sold them will still have the cash and the poor suckers that bought them will have useless tickets?
Probably, but they did warn people this would happen if bought on unofficial resale sites prior to them going on sale. Not often I defend Oasis or promoters, but it's about time they did something to curb the touts.
Oh I realise it was clear Despite not wanting to go in the slightest I do actually have two tickets to see the annoying tossers, at face value, so the first thing I did was see if I could flog them and make some worthwhile cash…
I guess they'd still have to evidence the fact they've been resold, so if you didn't advertise them on a public platform I don't see how they'd know.
Sadly Mrs Tash wants to go and see them. I’m hoping nearer the time she’ll decide to go with someone else…or they’ll have broken up again
Could be worse as she could have liked the Bee Gees, tickets selling well for their next concert, in fact there's only one left. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
North Korea is having a crackdown on Western music that makes people feel uplifted and joyful, Coldplay are due there next month. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Is beige your favourite colour by any chance? At least Oasis make you feel something. Granted in my case its a sense of pitiful revulsion but at least it's something.
I’ve got my wife 2 tickets to see Billy Joel next year. An easy Christmas present. Hope one of her mates wants to go.
