Think it'll be tomorrow if he goes. If he's still here by Monday lunchtime he'll be in charge at city imo.
If SR do want to make a change, the fact it’s City away next buys them a small window of time. They could be doing things in the background while Russell remains in charge as it’s somewhat of a free hit no matter how much preparation time you have. Everton home is the big one we have to be ready for
True but you may as well let a caretaker take that match if you're already doing the work in the background.
I wouldn't have thought he'd be gone this weekend. If I was going to give him the boot, I'd do so after the Man City match. We'll likely get a hiding there and morale will be low. We can then bring in a fresh face for the match against Stoke as a bit of a free hit to prep us for a more important match against Everton. That being said, very little that SR do makes sense to me...
Looks like we're already joint top of the most points dropped from a winning position league (joint with Everton and Brentford)...even though we've only been leading three times!
I was having a think about the support today, admittedly the Ref was having a somewhat erratic performance, but do the fans dishing out the foul mouthed abuse to him, think that it will make him become a better referee during the game? Also the bad mouthing and insults dished out to Vardy, do they think it will affect his performance? If anything it spurs him on to do better and once again he has had the last and longest laugh at our expense. This so called Northam "wall of sound" is nothing like it and is doing more harm than good. I have tried hard to give my support to RM but it is difficult to defend the indefensible.
Regards the ref and Vardy, that’s just football. That happens in any and every ground every week. Not much wisdom in the knee jerk reactions of course, but just gives s voice to the frustration.
Vardy scoring against us is basically a dead cert anyway so that's no reason to not call him a **** imo.
I would say that he's already achieved a degree of success at Saints and I personally enjoyed last season so he should be judged differently imo.
Don't disagree I was just asking the question about the respective PL records. I can't even remember how many Jones was in charge of tbh, must have been 8-9?
Sad to say I won £110 today. Bet on vardy to score, and then bet on Leicester to win 3-2 when we went to 2-1. Hate betting against saints normally, but we are so predictable
Yeah I'm pretty sure after this game his is now worse (really can't be arsed to Google) Just remembered the Sports Republic geniuses gave him a new contract at the start of the season too. ****ing clowns
every silver lining. My favourite bet was in 2016 when 2-0 down to Scousers. I had a fiver at 20/1. Pelle and Mane later, I win a £100
