Yep. I was apoplectic. After allv the cr**p he had dished out to us all game he could have just blown his whistle at 7 mins but no let the corner come in, let it be cleared, still don’t blow,….
Yeah. That exception has existed for a while now. I was surprised at how many Saints fans weren't aware of it.
He clearly wanted Leicester to win from the first minute. Must have had them in his acca or something. One of the most one sided officiating displays you will ever see
The time they delayed that FK for was far longer than the wasted time which Sugawara got booked for. Plus it quite clearly didn't factored into the first half injury time.
this has to be close to the worst PL start of all time, right? We will lose again next week so that’s 1 point from 27
Having played our two fellow promoted teams at home and the sides who finished 16th and 17th last season.
Christ. I think Derby’s record is genuinely in trouble. St Mary’s hasn’t even turned toxic yet. Eventually the fans will turn and then we will get even worse Gonna be a long season
Heard a lot of boos from by gasworks so imagine it was fairly toxic once the whistle went. I left as soon as the goal went in.
Ah ok, didn’t know that & obviously a lot of the players didn’t either as they were complaining! Not my job tho as I’m a novice terrace whatever
Anyway, on a more pragmatic note; Taylor is a total knob & SR have to find someone who can galvanate this bunch to hold a win, hold a draw. RM cannot.
And of course you maybe right but I dont think / pretty sure I've never seen that implemented previously? Actually good rule … as long as used across the board. Thought Taylor was atrocious today tho.
Northam Fan Zone was brilliant afterwards. Even me a moaning mini, was very impressed. Few sherbets, a great band, singalong & drowning in our sorrows/usuals.
3pm kick off time for me is 3am. I don't bother getting up watching Saints anymore, and had a great sleep. I dont get wound up that Saints loose anymore.I find out in November if I still have a job, that's real life to me.
I'm going to go slightly against the grain and say that I thought Fraser did ok when he came on (pre-red card of course) - he found a couple of pockets of space on the flank and made a couple of mazy runs into the box. The other subs were poor though. We started to invite pressure in the first half though, better all the substitute nonsense - about ten minutes before half time we were dropping deeper and deeper, completely disregarding what had been working up until then. I appreciate that we were just trying to get to half time but we just can't cope being pressed.
