Which estuary is Hull on the side of now then? i remember Trevor Pearson back in the 1970s going round all the schools lecturing on the dangers of fireworks and being careful on Bonfire Night. He was referred to as Mr Fireworks. Must have worked, there was only one casualty needing hospital treatment. Guess who’s son it was.
Must have done, we are no longer on the side of the Humber apparently. Some people must have got it all confused, they used to play Yorkshire cricket matches in Hull not Northumbria ones.
