Midfield line up doesn't inspire confidence but we only have who we have, CS on the bench is a positive

I’m assuming it’s Paal in midfield as I think our Marti is very much a four at the back man. Could be a five. At least we won’t have the nonsense inverted full-back thinking we’re City when we’re barely Holby City.

Never confident when Clarke-Salter isn’t playing no matter what’s ahead.

Dozzell thankfully benched delaying the inevitable goal to his late cameo.

Dunne in the middle and Fox at left back? Not a confidence booster!

Fox did well at LB last season. Don’t mind that so much especially without Salter there to make up for the incompetence of the others.

I was thinking more of Dunne in the middle.

Having watched pretty much every game of this season so far and being a combination of disappointed, embarrassed, frustrated and downright bored s**tless with 80% of the performances (feck knows how the individuals who actually pay and attend feel) .....

....after yet another 2-week international break, a few basic things i'd like to see today.

    * A more cohesive performance in terms of tactics and style.

    * PROPER defensive marking at opponents dead-ball situations.

    * A more combative, physical backbone throughout the team, especially in midfield.

    * Us leaving at least 1 outfield player upfield on opponents corners.....no point bringing all the midgets back.

    * A team that plays for the whole 90 minutes, not one that starts playing after half-time or when we're 2-0 down.

*More inventive/reactive substitutions that possibly change the shape or course of the game, not more like-for-like changes that......change nothing.

    * Some support for the poor lone ba**ard upfront.

    * Just some proper fecking fight and creativity and less pi**balling about at the back.

Sorry for the rant......but is this really too much to ask for?

Well yes we can only hope he’s put his boots on the right way round and pray with that one. Oh well it is at least sunny in Shebu.

5 defenders named. Unless Paal drops into midfield, where he plays for Suriname, then it's going to be a big big gap up to Frey. If it's the latter then it's just different personnel in the same old shape that's served us so well this season

Madsen shall bamboozle them with his half-paced sort of inside left but too deep to ever impact the game non-tackling, non-passing wizardry.

Seriously missing Colback and JCS in the starting lineup, no bite in the middle and to slow at the back
