From what ive seen of sunderland this season They start games with extreme energy, but taper off If we can hold them back similar to what we did against qpr I fancy us to win
Baz isn’t predicting any radical changes to the starting XI: Pandur, Drameh, Hughes, Jones, Coyle (c), Zambrano, Slater, Belloumi, Mehlem, Millar, Bedia.
Not sure if Hughes deserves to hang onto his place. He looked every inch a League One defender with no experience at a higher level. However he's most likely better than Mcloughlin which says it all. We neglected our defence in the Summer and it's going to cost us dearly. We may strengthen in January but by then a play off place may well be out of reach.
Hughes obviously cocked-up for one of the goals, but other than that I thought he played well and he has experience of playing at this level, he played a Championship season for Wigan. I think he’ll end up being a big player for us and the sooner he’s starting, the better.
I agree that in time he'll be a big player for us ...but last time out he made 3 blunders. He moved the ball better than McL but looked a liability in defence. Tough call for Walter.

Same, suns out and now I feel obliged to get outdoors and do something active. I’d like nothing more than to sit on the sofa in my underpants watching football and eating hot dogs.
