I would. Completely dominated, cut out any threat, created good chances. If we put in that performance against Sheff Utd we would be crowning ourselves league winners
You may be right but, whenever we beat Burnley, Boro, etc, people say 'they had an off day' ... ... that was a dreadful performance from Sheff Utd, in a derby match, in my opinion.
We would be on a high but we have been through the mill .. no way would we get carried away . Leeds are clearly a good team but we matched them and teams like WBA Norwich Burnley will as well .. wide open for me
How embarrassing to go to Elland Road, in a top of the table local derby ... ... and not manage a single attempt on target. That was a truly rotten performance and thank f*ck we didn't sign Kieffer Moore.
Maybe worth considering Sheff Utd performance in light of Baldock. Cant have been an easy week or so for some of that squad, including Wilder. Just a thought but sometimes outside factors affect the game. Folk are human after all.
I get that but that's how they've played all season, they are set up to be hard to beat n hope one of their forward players produce some magic They will need to do more than that to get promoted (they still are 2nd or 3rd fave for me with Burnley due to the quality of players they have) I think January is going to be huge this season, feel there isn't a lot separating a lot of clubs n nailing January will be massive for any teams hopes of getting promoted, getting into the playoffs or even staying up
I saw some of Sheff Utd v Swansea and it was pretty drab. Swansea had around 65% possession, Utd only had three efforts on target and won with an own goal. They seem to be set to grind out attritional results based on lumping the ball up to Kieffer Moore. They have plenty of attackers but don't seem to have that many attacks, last night was poor and a game thrown away setting up for a 0-0.
Luton 1-0 Watford. Strange goal from a corner. Just from the first 10 minutes Luton look like they have reverted back to their style from 2 years ago. Playing extremely direct.
Hope it doesn't rain much in Luton before Wednesday because our match could be in danger, the pitch is a mess and the ball isn't rolling in a section of it.
