Former One Direction member Liam Payne has died in Buenos Aires after falling from a hotel. The popstar had reportedly arrived in the Latin American country earlier this month to attend his ex bandmate Niall Horan's concert. Several witnesses said Mr Payne had fallen from his room at the Casa Sur Palmero Hotel shortly after 5pm (ART) Wednesday evening.
Several comments on Liam Payne. My daughters are pretty upset, but it’s been a few years, so… Apparently he’s had a lot of struggles with booze and drugs, ongoing up until now love 1D music, yes, I don’t care, great singalong stuff. Me, the Motte, and the two daughters saw them in concert in Tampa. I have to say they were very very good. I sang my voice horse. Respect, and RIP Liam.
Shockingly, awful news. RIP Liam Payne. 31, no age. A son, brother, a father himself, a young child left behind without his father. Liam’s Mum was so humble and proud of him. A young man, with the world at his feet, you just wonder what drives them to such a tragedy. I guess goes to show mental health demons have no respect for who/what you are. Condolences to his family & friends. RIP Liam
RIP the little 7 year old lad the died in the explosion in Newcastle. To think he probably fell asleep in his bed one night and never woke up. Whatever happened, it's always heart wrenching when they go so young.
Sad news Steve Bruce's 4 month old grandson Madison has suddenly passed away. RIP young fella. Deepest sympathy to the Bruce family.
Steve Bruce's Grandson and Alex Bruce's Nephew. Madison has tragically passed away. 4 months old. R.I.P lil man
Aye I heard it on the radio driving home from work this morning. RIP Madison and condolences to the family .
All the years been on this forum and never posted but would like to post this if ok, not sure where to do it. Regarding RIP October would just like to add my Dad to this. He died on 8th October in the morning at Castle Hill after short illness. He was lifelong City fan for around 70 years. He loved the Waggy and Chillio generation and was lucky enough to have both help train his youth football teams. He took me as a four year old to Boothferry Park. We went through the tough times literally from Boothferry to Wemberly and so pleased he saw that. He always enjoyed (mostly!) reading this forum. Apart from me he has two very successful sons who's grandchildren support City home and away. This will be the first game wont be able to speak about to him aferwards. He literally was city till he died, a good man and i'll miss him.
Didnt know where to put this. SIR CHRIS HOY has been diagnosed with terminal cancer with a 2 to 4 year window. Too tragic for one so young and a seemingly top man... Edit... just seen on completely different thread.
Deepest sympathies hullchrissp . Hopefully in time your memories will make you smile instead of the pain
Condolences to you and the family. They say that time is a great healer, and the pain of loss obviously becomes less over time, but we will always hurt over those that we’ve loved so much and lost. RIP your wonderful dad

He was an absolute gentleman as well. Back in the 90s when I worked part time at Little Chef, I served the great man an Olympic Breakfast. Had a long chat to him, what a gentleman and legend. Talking about Budgerigars. RIP Geoff Capes
Did he have something to do with or turned up for an event at the garden center just outside Preston? That's our Preston not the one over in Lancashire.
