The PL have been found to have knowingly implemented unlawful rules that breached competition law. They were warned by Man City and chose to still implement them. There is no coming back from that. Those that voted to implement them are finished. Intentional Competition law breaches can carry severe financial penalties. Businesses can be fined up to 10% of their global turnover. So theoretically the PL and every club that voted for the original rules AND the amendments are on the radar. PL clubs cannot sue each other I hear you say. Wrong. CAT overrides the PL arbitration process as it concerns application of UK competition law. I hope we go after the ****s.

They'll be worming around trying to formulate new rules that's aren't unlawful and even if they are they'll know they can just apply them and drag it out for longer
I can't wait for city to defeat the 115 charges.. the melt down from the drooling green eyed monsters will be sensational.
Or they're finding that the search for a more watertight way of restricting any ambitious ownership of smaller clubs... To be time-consuming
I can't wait for someone (hopefully us) to announce an absolute blockbuster of a deal worth a metric **** tonne of mooolah just to see them try and block it ! Someone must have something in the pipeline they've been sitting on waiting for this very moment surely?
Yes probably not us though. We have clearly been bitch slapped into order because of the new rules. We will just sit back and watch and then hopefully strike with deals later on which are lucrative.
The PL are screwed. At some point they to face the direct question of why exactly they put so much focus into 'fixing' something that was never a problem. What exactly are these financial rules trying to achieve (or to prevent) in the first place. Protecting clubs from failed owners and bad debt? There are far better rules to achieve that specific purpose. Making it 'fair' for all clubs? Never going to happen as we didn't start the rules on a level playing field. It's unfair now. So what really is it? Aside from the obvious of favouring some clubs and most likely getting backhanders in the process.
