After the blunder or on purpose act by messliar at sunderland please vote on whether he should be dropped this is very important as it can have implications either way.
Well i voted yes, because in my opinion Darlow (although not brilliant) wouldn't make as many gaffs as Meslier. Trouble is now, the defence & fans are losing all confidence in him, not fare imo on the lad, give him a break to recharge his batteries and find some confidence.
I say a big NO. taking him out will just kill the lad. He made a big clanger and overall he has his faults. Got nowt against the other keepers but they aren't any better. its what we have at our disposal and we need to get behind him now. Support every player because they play for OUR team. As for saying it was on purpose it really boils my pizz.
Not good enough for me....but he's had no competition, but that's up to the recruitment team and not him...50/50 on will he be benched
Take a spell in the reserves, put in a few decent performances their and he would feel much better, in the short term i admit he would feel devastated, but in the long term he would benefit, just needs to be out of the limelight a bit, as not being dropped and making even more errors would well i shudder to think what it might do to him.
Have to agree to disagree. Being dumped back down to the U21s, playing at clubs training grounds in front of a few hundred people (and their dogs) after being first choice for so long will do nothing for his confidence or make him feel better, that’s assuming we have anyone better to step in. Whatever we think he is clearly the best we have otherwise he would have lost his place by now.
I'm not sure if it was on purpose but to tell you the truth, I always have a percentage factor and in the back of my mind at moment the percentage for me is 60% it was on purpose and 40% it wasn't , due to the fact that :- 1. He must have seen a divet in the 45 mins he was in that goal area . 2. He had enough time and could have caught it before it hit the (supposedly ) divet and the ground. Oh and your right darlow isn't any better but he will be doing a job for Leeds utd not any other team that has influenced him , cause nobody is going to come in and buy darlow LOL
True , Leeds and farke have a big decision to make now , drop him or keep him in and have a big question mark hung over him , and don't forget the defenders are they going to trust him everytime they pass the ball back
Which begs the question why has he had no competition, and why are we ignoring probably the most important position on the pitch in the transfer windows? .
