I agree, I want an Englishman, but in all honesty, there just isn’t anyone out there. I think Fergie could still do a better job at his age with both Man U and England. The best “top division”, be that Division 1, PL etc. in England of all time is a Scotsman, there can be no argument about it.
Fair enough, and we were not very impressive all the way through Euro 24. Spain were better than us in the final and deserved to win. We could have won it though having got that late equaliser. The others; we should have beaten Italy at Wembley but Southgate was too cautious after we'd taken the lead (same as against Croatia in 2018), and against France in Qatar we simply bottled it. Not to have won at least one of those competitions amounts to failure in my opinion.

Its not the fact he's German for me, or that hes foreign, but it annoys me the the England manager CAN be. All the players have to be English, but the tactics, motivation, training etc can come from a different nation? There should be rules that everyone involved in representing your nationality should be of that nationality/heritage. If he wouldn't be eligible to pull on the shirt they shouldn't be eligible to be in the dugout imho
