That's a sensible and honest reply mate but I do think the points gap between us is too big to overhaul in 26 games, however, it depends what January brings. I see Mon recruiting a couple of influential players including a good striker, which is our Achilles heel. I also see Ashley cashing in on 1 or 2 of your best players if the money is right and weakening your team and morale. Short term you certainly have the upperhand. Long term, the tables just turned full circle because if Mon has signed up, then short will have given him a decent budget as well.
i saw collymore on tv on weds night as a pundit for the spurs game. has he had a stroke?? and what happened to his eyelids..?
Unfortunately, O'Neil does seem to like him so I wouldnt bet against this. However, if MON is our a manager, this is a drawback I am happy accept
Explain how I am deluded. Please enlighten me. I'll agree on your views on Ashley and lambias but at the end of the day, I'm following what's going on on the pitch. However, no matter how much they are messing things up commercially, you can't argue with how they have sorted out the finances.
I think long term are plans are already set. We have a clear picture on the types of players we are looking to recruit. As long as we are as careful as we have been, I see no reason why this can't continue. Tiote, one of our most influential players has been out for the last 5 games and Guthrie has fitted straight in. He is the biggest threat to be sold in my opinion, and if it's mega money, then you can't turn it down. One thing to be weary about with getting in MON is that he might fancy a whole new squad overhaul which is what has hurt you lot most in the last 2 seasons. If he can work with what he has and only add 1 or 2 then I reckon that will serve you a whole lot better. Just my view but I reckon a creative mid fielder, a left winger and a left back would turn your fortunes imediately.
I'm not the biggest MoN fan. However, one thing is for sure, he WILL be able to keep a player at the club which is something Bruce couldn't do. He has an average of being at clubs for 5 years/seasons so at least we might have a stable ride for some time now. I wish him luck - Blackburn will be a sell out because they are offering tickets for £10.00 - My wife works for EDF Energy and they have a promotion on for 4 tickets at a time. This is only a marketing plan because the need bums on seats for the festive season (Good plan) and great timing for the new managers.
A rapist, dogger and wife beater predicts Sunderland will be top dogs next season.... i will let the NUFC lads know, we may as well wrap up now eh.
Yeah we do have many many gates... We need them to let our fans in, I appreciate a Sunderland supporter may not understand this as the only "access points" you chaps are interested in are with regards to your sisters! Seriously though, what a top top appointment this would be for Sunderland. I think those predicting a close finish between us are going to be proved accurate... But I implore all Mackems to judge him at the end of the season at the earliest, not if he comes in and does badly with the shockingly average and overrated squad Bruce left! Very good appointment. Makes me sick, in fact.
I agree with this. What we dont need is another 5 year plan. We do have some very good players but as Eric Morecambe once famously said "we are not neccesarily playing them in the right order". I would trust MoN to rectify that and add maybe 1 or 2 in January and 1 or 2 in the summer. Thats the 'tweaking' we have required for some time not 8 or 9 players per transfer window.
Stupid ****s, you'll see what happens. You make me laugh and your players are still relatively ****e so you wont move much this season Wise words from Collymore the rapist eh! *doh*
Why waste my time, you cant afford a lottery ticket and probably can't count you inbred mackem ****wit
