CHRIS SUTTON'S PREDICTION NARROW HOME WIN 2:1 Anfield, 16:30 Everyone is talking now about the tests coming up for Liverpool, who have started the season with what some people are calling gentler fixtures but, after this game, go to Emirates Stadium next weekend. This is a tough game for them for starters. There has been a great rivalry between these two clubs in the past couple of decades and I don't think there will be much love lost when they meet on Sunday, either. Can Chelsea go to Anfield and dominate Liverpool? I am not so sure. Alisson's injury is a blow for the Reds but Caoimhín Kelleher is a very capable back-up in goal. At the other end, Arne Slot's playing style seems to suit Mohamed Salah and I am expecting Liverpool's attacking options to give them the edge. Sutton's prediction: 2-1 Kellie's prediction: This is a big one. Chelsea are picking up a bit of form and Cole Palmer is a terrific player, but I am still backing Liverpool here. 2-1 JONES KNOWS BEST HAS GONE FOR GAOLESS DRAW 0:0 Liverpool vs Chelsea, Sunday 4.30pm, live on Sky Sports - PLAY SUPER 6 TO WIN £750,000! Stream this game with NOW Live Premier League table | Watch PL highlights for free Download the Sky Sports App I've sat through enough Liverpool and Chelsea games down the years to know what to expect. There have been just 17 goals scored in the last 11 fixtures across all competitions, including a run of four straight 0-0 draws, two of which stretched across extra-time in cup finals. Chelsea have scored just two goals in their last seven games in all competitions against the Reds. This is a fascinating encounter where we're going to learn lots about both teams but it's baffled me why the market is so strong on goals being scored. The market is expecting to see over three goals being bagged with the over 3.5 line set at Evens with Sky Bet. That looks wrong. The horror run of fixtures that could define Slot's maiden Liverpool campaign please log in to view this image Remember, this is a new pragmatic Liverpool who like to control games and nullify the risk offered up by opposition - as seen by the goal averages where eight of their 10 games under Arne Slot have gone under 3.5 goals. Chelsea like to play with the ball, too, meaning we could see a very tactical, cagey encounter that is unlikely to descend into chaos. That's not a bad thing as we can certainly profit from it. The under 2.5 goals line at 2/1 with Sky Bet is a great option as is the 8/11 for under 3.5 goals. The 0-0 at 22/1 with Sky Bet is also a bit of a wild price. SCORE PREDITION: 0-0 | JONES KNOWS' BEST BET: Under 2.5 goals (2/1 with Sky Bet)
Yup. Thats the winning and losing of the game. None of ours are capable of picking up Palmer now so either we are front foot and cutting the supply they give the Palmer or we are going to be just dominated.
I'm half expecting to get our heads handed to us with that midfield so we really need to crowd back us and have to have a right go at them with intensity.
