So, a 1-3 win - I see Grealish played the whole game and got himself on the score sheet.
An improvement, but then I expect my over 50’s walking football team could have given Greece a better game than England did the other day.
Still passing backwards for too much of the game - unnecessarily imho.

I watched it in bits and pieces on my phone on the train coming back from Chelmsford.
I kept losing signal. Really frustrating.

under Nige we didn’t improve as he spent the bulk of the money on wages for James.

    eh?? how does that work?

We couldn’t afford to get in decent player in other areas as the budget was blown on him. Hence most of Nige’s signings came from L1&2

Not saying we don’t miss him, but, did having him mean we couldn’t afford to strengthen in other areas? Perhaps he was a luxury we couldn’t afford at that time, especially if he could play 2 games a week as the Championship often requires.
Not disputing how good he was, but did he cost us more than he brought us.

Definitely falls in the same bracket as James, although his wages were far less than what James was on, but still a good shout.

You don't know that that was a huge chunk of wages at a time of cost cutting; surely that had a knock-on effect on how much we could offer on wages to other players. Nige had a decent amount to spend relative to the clubs income during his period, a fact the Nige fangirls will never acknowledge...

skuse i but you didnt answer the questions. Heres one again the reason Pearson spent less was because City were spending a lot less isnt it? .

I watched 25 minutes, and couldn't stand it any longer.
Pep would be a great shout.
Thomas Frank is a 'left field' option.
