Any decent advice for parking near the ground?

Yeah if I was you I wouldn't park anywhere near the ground as it's a nightmare to get from it after a match, roadworks on the junction of the 63 to get to it as well. If it was me I'd try and be inconspicuous and park near anlaby and try and get in/out from there, straight out onto the junction with the bridge then after the match and cuts out all the roadworks

We’ve got a very good record down there, a lot better than most grounds we visit

Whatever happens in the other games it puts pressure on us to either get back on top or go ahead again ...

... one thing is sure, these lads don't bottle it as we've done in the past.

I wonder if Connolly will get on and what reception he'll get.

I'm not taking that much notice of what other teams do.....as we know, anyone can beat anyone in this league. I just feel we have an opportunity to win in each match we play, and it's up to us to make the most of it.
I'm not sure if Connolly will be ready....probably on the bench.....if he comes on and grabs the winner, that will shut them up!!<laugh> Assuming no further injury problems....Mepham didn't play yesterday for Wales, thankfully,Hume playing tonight, but then we should be ok...phew! Ballard should have benefitted from being at our place instead of away. Wilson up front with Mayenda and Connolly on the bench....we're not looking too bad.

Dunno about you lot, but I'm really worried we'll be intimidated by adults going 'raaaar raaar' with tiger hands <laugh>

We did our stuff well enough at Watford, gradually took control and should've won ...

... Plymouth was a messy game I'd find difficult to analyse.

That's football, doesn't always go to plan ... ask Leeds <laugh>

Well,Plymouth wasn't our best, but we had chances to put Watford away second half and lost the match to a stupid challenge late on.
No cause for concern imo. This is a difficult league....we are going to lose some matches...let's get used to it....however, I think we'll win more than we lose.

    https://founded1879.co.uk/opposition-lowdown-hull-city-vs-sunderland-afc/

"Their style is unique, to say the least, with defenders popping up all over the place. At QPR, Cody Drameh was on the edge of the box and played in Lewie Coyle who crossed for Chris Bedia to score. And that wasn’t the first occasion those two defenders – Coyle and Drameh – had combined in that area."

"F1879: Hull have won three, drawn three and lost three. As a result, it’s difficult from the outside looking in to get a handle on how their season may play out. However, as someone who is closer to the team and based on performances thus far, how do you see the campaign going for the Tigers?

BC: The first month of the season was basically a write-off, largely due to the lack of transfer business earlier in the summer. As many as 14 new players arrived after the club’s final friendly of the summer at Reading the week before the season started, so the rest of August was a mess because players were coming in every other day. That made it difficult for the new manager. They remain the classic work in progress given all those new arrivals, but the international break came at a good time to get a lot of their new players bedded in. I still feel like this season will be one of transition from where they were a year ago.

F1879: Now the dust has settled, what do supporters make of Liam Rosenior’s sacking in the summer ..... etc."

Last twice I've driven down I've parked at Asda at Hessle. £2 through Your Parking Space app for 6 hours or so. 20 minute walk to ground and easy access to main roads after match.

Seeing your post reminds me of walking out of there, after a chilly night game, across that big gravel car park of theirs. I'd unknowingly walked into the middle of big frozen pool of water but was walking without any problem. The second you said 'Watch out, you're walking on ice', I did a full 'Home Alone' and went flying <laugh>
