Haway the lasses

We’ve got a bit of momentum of late thankfully, hopefully we can put a few past Moan for leaving

 

There's a few who moved over there, Emma Kelly is another one.

 

Hopefully one day we can go back to paying these lasses full time and we might not lose as many !

 

Definitely. I think they are putting things in place for that to happen. There were a few announcements before the season started about development teams so fingers crossed it happens soon

 

I don't think we will mate. We have a lot of experienced heads in there.

I was looking at the Newcastle squad who played against Durham. Demi Stokes is obviously a step up, but is getting on a bit. They have our ex-goalkeeper, Claudia Moan, who was a good signing for them. It was noticeable that they had 3 ex-Sunderland players on the bench for them. Georgia Gibson and Katie Barker both struggled to get game time for us when we were in the league below and Emma Kelly didn't really do much in her 2 spells here. That probably tells you all about their squad strength.

I expect Dear, Kitching and Fenton to dominate them and for us to claim all 3 points.

 

That's a strange one. Some of the girls have careers outside of football. Megan Beer for instance, is in the Fire Brigade, and has said she wouldn't give it up if the whole squad went full time. Some of our lasses are already on full time pro contracts mind.

 

Mags at work saying they taking over 10k? Surely can’t be true . Might head over myself tbh

 

Don't think they got that size of ticket allocation for last years mens match. So, I can't see that being the case. As of yesterday, the club announced that 12,000 tickets have been sold. So I sincerely hope 10k aren't Mags. Without being critical, it would reflect on our support if we were outnumbered by them in our own ground, on a weekend when there's no men's football.

 

They may have some in the home end of course but they’ve sold 2300 in the away end.

 

Thanks for that mate. Having 10k + of our fans there will be brilliant. Even better if it ends up beyond 15k. This is the size of crowds we need to be getting to compete in the top flight, so it's a good benchmark.

 

Damn Right, hopefully a few that go can enjoy the match, the play is end to end most times and really entertaining. Plus we've got some hard cases and I forsee a few fouls on Sunday

 

They like to make everything about themselves. Muppets. Have they already said they'll make it 52,000 at sjp?
