Watched Taylor, Carney and Spellman in the 1-0 home win for Harrogate Town, Ellis had a good game but jacob Carney spilled one of his crosses for the goal , Spellman came on as a late sub, but Harrogate held out for a deserved win. On the subject of jacob Carney ,joined us from Man U and looked so good in the U21's (2021/23) I think he captained us in that spell and got rave press reviews, but was released and went back to Man U on trial then signed for a Spanish club Castillion , ending up at Newport County in 2024. gets about a bit this lad.
We were linked with the Finland left winger Keskinen in the summer. He went to Aberdeen in the end but I think he looks good here. Very quick and tricky.
Don’t really understand Palmer over Foden. It’s seems obvious to me that Foden is the better player. Better midfield shape today at least (that was the main problem on Thursday) and no mediocre mag in the team either.
Gomes and Rice in midfield works very nicely. Rice is not a 6, Arsenal don't use him there, so you have to let him do what he does best which is drive forward with the ball or pick up attacking positions. Gomes lets him do that.

Tactics all wrong, we're winning, we should be playing counter attacking football, draw them out, play the ball around our half, they have to come for it. Why Grealish isn't trying to beat the left back is beyond me.
