Well as this a dinner thread, I would like to introduce you all to the saturday dining habits of me.

I like to go out for a drink on saturdays or drink at home if SAFC are playing. I do not want to sit down and have a meal

Al I have been doing in last few years or so, is going to Lidls, buying 3 stonebaked rolls

Mrs prepares for me, and I eat them whenever I feel like like it. Not much trouble for her and convenient for me

As an aside, if you have read my recent few posts on this thread about prices, and in particular me paying £8.50 for a can of WYLAM?(330ml, mind i hindsight it may have been 440ml which I doubt!!). I have today ahad a few ( lot??) in Costa Del Concord @Washy.

I kid you not I paid £1.79 (PINT) for milestone @ 5.6% in spoons, beer festival on and thereafter £2..20 for Smiths in Middle Inn

Returned home and enjoying my dinner now........................cheap day compared to last Wednesad FFFFFSSS

Never seen so much rocket on one plate in my life, can't stand the stuff. Fennel equally as bad.

Soup and a sarny is one of those brilliant combos. If you can get away with dipping the sarnie even better.

Flying solo in the house tonight. Fancy something with a cold beer in about an hour.

I think I am going cheese on toast. I like crusts of the bread toasted. Branston smeared on thick. Cheese and chilli flakes. Under the grill. Splash of Worcester sauce floating on the top.

    Then a cornetto!

I had baked beans and toast!
Not beans on toast, I hate soggy toast

Uncut tiger loaf, sliced thick, and well toasted, and let it cool down for a bit before buttering.

Baked beans with cracked black pepper and chilli flakes.

    Was very nice

Home made beef chilli tonight. Served in the giant Yorkshire puds we didn’t use up with Sunday roast. Bit of freshly grated cheddar and pecorino, a dollop of sour cream on top and sorted .

Just finished my takeaway doner. At times junk food is just what the chef ordered. And it was greasy, spicy and bloody delicious.

Nothing beats a nice doner kebab, food of the gods.
I try and have a balanced diet, so I find a kebab in each hand works well.
