Can't think why tonight's capacity is over 5,000 less than usual. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Bullshit. Nobody could have beaten that Wigan side tonight, they had it all, fitness, discipline and Bevan French. KR can hold their heads up.
I'm 6'3 and old Trafford was **** to watch city... Painful sitting with legroom designed for midgets.
No shame to lose narrowly, though Wigan always seemed to be in control, to a team which has won an unprecedented quadruple.
Apoarently, it’s because they need different camera positions to the normal football ones and in addition to segregation between the normal home and away fans, there’s additional segregation between both sets of fans and the neutral fans.
Attendance There's 68,173 people at Old Trafford this evening. That's the biggest Grand Final attendance for seven years.
They've just announced the attendance was 68,500, which is a decent crowd, not forgetting it was the nearest thing to a home game for Wigan. Best team won. In RL terms for Wigan not to conceded a try for the 4th consequetive game is quite remarkable.
Hard luck Rovers..Good effort.... I'm no RL expert but it sounds as if Wiggie stopped Lewis and May..
Great effort.... a couple of things stood out for me... the kicking game of Smith v Mikey... players like Field and Misky dont drop bombs or rarely and for me he should have been kicking the space between the full back/ winger and their forward/back line forcing them to come to the ball... during the entire game they didnt drop one... and dont you think as good as they are French was like Messi in his pomp, someone you really dont see in the game and they do one thing that wins games.
Davies from Catalan , and the biggest signing Jared Hargreaves.... oh and Martin from Leeds.. A shame that Ryan Halls and Matty Purcells last game sort of passed by...
