I've not looked at any stats this week, nor the league table to see where Accrington are placed. This Saturdays task is quite straightforward, we remain second despite losing our last two games, so now it's important to return to winning ways, another defeat and we will need a long hard look at ourselves, especially being at home, and fans would have to lower their expectations, so... I mentioned recently that we still don't look like a complete unit. Some final touches missing. Again like last season, we looked like we had a great unit and started well, but all went tits up. Now with two consecutive defeats, in both matches, we were well in charge 68% against Crewe with 19 shots on target and 62% against Grimbsy with 13 shots on target. We are not converting again which is a massive problem although we average 2 goals a game???????. Stanley has not got off to a good start so far with only one win which was last week beating Morcombe who are bottom. We don't have a good home record against them either. Only three wins in eight. We need to bounce back quickly with Wallsall not playing and County in an early KO at present 1-1 at halftime. We have been getting great home gates, which will soon diminish with a few more bad results. Hear says a draw, hearts says a MUST WIN. MKB 2 v 1 Stanley ( McKenzie, Lapslie Costello ) I have the day off today so will be watching with a few beers, Hopefully I will be stood and shouting and not on the bed wishing it was all over
